I have been a fan of mlp:fim since the day i was born, before the show was even out i was obsessed. This show holds a very special place in my heart as it was the first show i would consider myself a fan of. I loved all sorts of other shows as a kid but this was really my introduction into fandom!

When I was a kid rainbowdash was my favorite character. I was a huge tomboy and I thought she was the coolest. I liked how athletic she was too. I've never been bmuch of an athlete. When I was a kid I was on a soccer team and I always wanted to play as the goalie so I could sit down and play with the grass. I had a weird gait and was a pretty poor runner. I always thought athletics were cool though and I wanted to be good at it. I also liked her confidence, I just thought she was the coolest.

Now my favorite character is Applejack! I think she is the funniest of the mane six and I love her episodes. People sometimes joke that shes a bit of a background character because she has less episode centered around her, especially early on, but I think she is a really strong supporting character in the episodes that aren't about her. I also think that the episodes that do focus on her are really good! (excluding the episode with the buffalo in s1, that does not exist in my mind) My favorite AJ episodes are s6 e10 'Applejacks "Day" Off'. I love that she spends the whole episode fixing stuff at the spa. She is so butch in this... love. I also love s2 e15, 'The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000' This has by far my favorite line out of any in the entire series. At the end of the episode AJ is writing a letter to princess celestia. The format usually goes "Dear Princess Celestia, today I learned..." In this episode AJ instead says "Dear Princess Celestia, I wanted to share my thoughts with you. I didn't learn anythin'! Ha! I was right all along!" Just reading it doesnt do the line justice though. The delivery is just muah! chefs kiss! Hilarious!
